Executive Steward’s Report

When I accepted the nomination for Executive Steward almost a year ago, I had no idea what to expect. I have been with CRA for 9 years and have had very little involvement with Union activities. When I was nominated, at first I was shocked, but I decided that as Executive Steward, it would be a good place to start and learn more about the Union.

Over the past year, I have gone through a number of experiences that have enhanced my knowledge. I have had the opportunity to work with, and get to know, the executive, the stewards and many of our members. Being a Union Steward has been a very rewarding and eye opening experience for me. I enjoy getting out and meeting different members, helping members resolve problems and supporting the Union in general. I hope to continue to serve on the Union Executive when my term expires next year.
